My Liege! My Lord!

My Liege! My Lord!

Though not long it has been,
Centuries to me it seems.
To say without thee life is impossible,
Is a infinite belittlement!
Yet O Father,
Thou watchest over me,
Over thy kingdom.
Thy God still protects us.
Thy spirit still rides the tamed beasts,
And flies freely in the skies high.
I stand here today at thy resting place,
And swear an oath to thy dust.
No harm shall befall thy kingdom my Liege!
Life's tempests may roar the loudest,
Yet I shall honour and protect those that are thine,
Till the last drop of crimson.
There may come foes new and old,
I shall roar like thou taught me to,
I shall win every battle with thy grace and blessings.
For to emulate thee,
Is not that which I can transort if I wished to.
My sole ambition is and will be,
To let thy Legend live on,
To let thy kingdom prosper,
To protect thy lineage with my blood!
For thou art greatness My Liege!
For thou art magnanimity my Lord!

Know!

Know!

Try as hard as you can my love.
Deny as much as you want to,
But know this for an infinite truth,
That when you look in the mirror,
You see yourself wrapped in me.
When you close your eyes to sleep,
You wish to dream,
Of showering your love on me,
Of wanting to break free,
From all the norms and taboos,
And wanting not to awake,
From the sweet pain of slumber.
Know that when you awake,
You want to see my face and smile.
For you know I am a keeper.
With all the differences two can have,
You know I will always be,
There by your side,
When you grow old and weary.
When your bones have given way,
And when talking about our past,
Will not hurt so much,
For we will be holding our hands tightly,
Knowing only death can do us part!
